Abstract
Abstract: El corazón de la bestia is an anthology that uses journalistic chronicles to document recent changes in interspecies relations in Latin America. For animal historiography, journalism provides records of everyday interactions and tensions that often escape formal repositories. From a historical perspective, chronicle as a narrative form becomes a tool to situate processes of change and continuity in our relationship with non-human animals.
